After 14 years, the Toyota Tundra finally underwent a redesign last year. This update provided a strong, effortless driving experience and offered many new amenities. For the 2023 model year, not much has changed, but a new appearance package is available, and we want to discuss what it offers.

What’s New for 2023?

As mentioned, there are no major changes to the Tundra's design. What is new is an added appearance package for the SR5 trim. This appearance package gives black and dark gray elements to the Tundra's interior and exterior and 18-inch dark gray wheels. Blackened door handles, body trim, and a rear bumper mid-section are also added. To buy this package, customers must buy a white, silver, gray, or black model.

Features of the New Toyota Tundra

Besides the appearance package, everything that was added to last year's redesign is still available. This includes the base turbocharged 3.5-liter 389 horsepower V6 engine and the battery-electric 437 hp hybrid system.

Other features include the standard eight-inch touchscreen and the optional 14-inch model. Smartphone integration for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. As well as features from higher trims like a panoramic sunroof, heated front & rear seats, and sound-reducing front windows.

The safety features also remained unchanged. With Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 equipped, drivers will receive many advanced-driver aids. This includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a lane-keeping system. Higher trims will feature a head-up display and a 360-degree camera.
